G-Wheel – Manuel Alegre
G – MTS is a combined transport system for the megacities of the future, where people will need to overcome long distances but also short distances to get to their destination. A lot of small single vehicles powered with green energy can be picked up and dropped off in different points of the city, so you don’t need to use your own car to move. For long distances, you can couple your vehicle to a complex web of lanes and shuttles, using the magnetic levitation technology, that can jump you from one extreme to another in the city.
E-Bike-Leasing – Ulrich Simmann

Theme
The Ferdinand Porsche Erlebniswelten fahr(T)raum in Mattsee combines contemporary history with innovation. The “Milestones of Mobility” exhibition sees itself as a tribute to the Austrian car pioneer and visionary.
The entire exhibition houses over 33 automobiles from the period 1901-1940 – from carriage to beetle. In the so-called “Traktorstadl” in the basement, the motorisation of agriculture is depicted with more than 20 historic tractors. The austere and functional architec- ture of a former industrial building provides the framework for the exhibits on loan from Ing. Ernst Piech, Ferdinand Porsche’s eldest grandson.
fahr(T)raum initiates the „Mobility in the future“ competition in memory of the great visionary Ferdinand Porsche.
Students are called upon to submit their visionary vehicle concepts for the transport of people. It is not primarily about technical innovations, but about conceptual ideas and visionary design.
