Discover our Traktor Stadl with it’s big collection of historical tractors
The carmaker and visionary Ferdinand Porsche started thinking about ways to mechanize agriculture as early as 1915. Soon after he developed the Volksschlepper of which the first prototypes were built in 1938.
Working with the company Allgaier he brought out the first diesel tractor “Porsche design” in 1950, featuring lots of technical innovations like an air cooling system, the lightweight construction and a hydraulic clutch. The novelty amazed the whole agricultural sector.

Big collection of historical tractors
Many people might be surprised that using the brand name Porsche not only famous sports cars but also tractors were successfully developed and sold. Together with vehicles from the local club for tractors and agricultural machines we’re presenting Allgaier and Porsche-Diesel models at our “Traktor-Stadl” where you can enjoy an atmosphere like a warm summer night at the farm.
