JAKOB IGLHAUSER TAKES OVER MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY
On 1 January 2015 Jakob Iglhauser took over the management of FAHRTRAUM GmbH. He replaces Matthäus Maislinger (67), who managed the company since its foundation and is now enjoying a well-deserved retirement. “It was a pleasure for me to be able to be part of the development of this world of adventure – a homage to the great car pioneer Ferdinand Porsche – and meet lots of friends and partners of fahr(T)raum. I am grateful for the sympathy and support our wonderful fahr(T)raum project has received”, were the words of Matthäus Maislinger as he said good-bye. The initiator of the world of adventure, Ernst Piëch, also expressed his sincere thanks for the very successful work and he is delighted to have found a competent professional for the position.
The 38-year-old Jakob Iglhauser from Mattsee is a graduate of the tourism school in Bischofshofen. He had already worked for fahr(T)raum before his appointment as manager. He is familiar with all segments of the company, from visitor and event management through to organisation and managerial responsibilities. Jakob Iglhauser on his appointment: “I am looking forward to this new challenge. It is our aim to further increase our profile and to boost the lively image of the fahr(T)raum with exciting offers and many different events. I extend my thanks to Ernst Piëch, who has placed his trust in me, as well as to my predecessor.”
