Classic car rides – a truly unforgettable experience

Spread the joy of Christmas by giving your loved ones a unique and very special gift: Sit back and enjoy the Trumer Lakelands in an almost 100 year old automobile … At the Ferdinand Porsche Experience Worlds fahr(T)raum Mattsee/Salzburg, not only can you admire classic cars, but you can also actually take a ride in one.

A drive in the picturesque scenery around Lake Mattsee of the Trumer Lakelands can be booked by the hour with a chauffeur. The vintage automobile can accommodate up to five people. You can choose from four different routes (3-lakes view, Buchberg/8-lakes view, Egelseen lakes, Lake Mattsee round trip), which each take between one and one and a half hours. You can also put together your own individual route. The per-hour cost for one of our classic cars, for example an Austro Daimler ADR 22/70 Phaeton from 1929, is € 270. As a sparkling extra, you can also make arrangements for a picnic in the Bajuwar village in the Mattseer Weyerbucht bay after the trip and drink a toast to this genuinely unforgettable experience.

Andrea May and Ruedi Gloor from Switzerland paid a visit to the classic car exhibition and then took a ride: „It was a unique experience in a breathtaking setting. The chauffeur, a sympathetic Mattsee native, told us a lot about the country and its people, we took some great pictures and the beautiful classic car was amazingly comfortable as an armchair.”.

The ADR 22/70 Phaeton is like many other historical cars from fahr(T)raum also available as a model car in fahr(T)raum and in the online store. The automobile historian Jan Norbye had the following to say about the ADR: „A vastly luxurious and prestigious car, fast, large and stable, yet lighter and better to drive than most of its contemporaries”.

Book the ADR Phaeton yourself or give away a voucher for a special occasion! At www.fahrtraum.at/gutscheine you can buy vouchers for one of the four routes or an individual round trip. If you don’t want to commit yourself yet – there is also a value voucher, where you can simply enter an amount yourself, available for download at www.fahrtraum.at/wertgutschein.
