TURNING BACK TIME – A JOYRIDE WITH A HISTORIC CAR
How about a befitting ride in a vintage car around the Mattsee?
Because cars – even classic cars – should always be moved, the fahr(T)raum also offers vintage car rides in almost 100-year-old vehicles. The loans of Porsche grandchild Ernst Piëch and his family are fully functional. The chauffeured tours lead through the incomparably gentle landscape of the Salzburger Seenland.
The noble automobiles are steered by a chauffeur and can accommodate up to 5 people. For groups, several vehicles can be booked at the same time. No problem for large groups – we divide the visitors. One part receives a tour while the other is chauffeured and vice versa.

Feel the centrifugal forces in our fantastic racing simulators or spin a few laps with sensitive touch on the Carrera track. From a futuristic modern racing car, a tractor simulator to the nostalgic vintage car – you will not miss a wish!
Also a highlight for groups after a guided tour through the fahr(T)raum. Best ask for this offer at the time of booking.
ONE DAY – EXPERIENCE
A morning visit to the KTM Motohall in Mattighofen offers a bracing introduction to the exciting world of KTM to get your day off to a roaring start. Next, enjoy an impressive tribute to Ferdinand Porsche at the fahr(T)raum activity center in Mattsee, where you’ll get an up-close look at the early days of automotive development. After a full day of high-powered activities, slow down the pace and explore the fascinating world of beer brewing at Trumer Private Brewery, one of Austria’s most innovative breweries. Finish out your day with a specialty pilsner in Trumer’s unique Fermentation Lounge!

The Mattsee Package is suitable for a visit of 5 – 6 hours.
On the lake, surrounded by gently rolling hills with the alps in the background – Mattsee is situated idyllically in the heart of Salzburg’s Lake District. The region is an ideal destination for excursions, offering leisurely walks in the unspoiled natural surroundings or walks in Buchberg Nature Park. Lake Mattsee itself is one of the warmest lakes in the Salzburg region.

Group FAQs
We have a lot of plans for the day - can I arrive earlier with my group than at 10:00?
Of course we can open the fahr(T)raum for registered groups earlier! For groups of at least 10 people we open our exhibition at 8:30 am.
In the afternoon we come directly from another attraction with a seniors group - is there the possibility to have a coffee?
Sure! The fahr(T)raum Café is happy to welcome you with coffee and tea specialties, including cake. Let us know in advance, then we will also organsie cake variations. Cold drinks and a “Trumer Ferdinand beer” are already cooled ;-)
Some of our club members find it difficult to climb stairs. How many floors does the fahr(T)raum have?
The exhibition is barrier-free! The bus can stop right outside the entrance. Only the “Traktorstadl” is located in the basement and is accessible via a lift.
We are planning a tour with our vintage cars and visit the fahr(T)raum. Is there enough parking nearby?
Whether for buses, Youngtimer, classic cars or other mobile subsets – we have a large parking lot directly at the fahr(T)raum building! Let us know, then we can also block parts of it.
