Legendary Porsche model cars for collectors in 1:18, 1:43, and 1:87 scale

You can experience automobile history first hand at the fahr(T)raum Ferdinand Porsche Worlds of Experience in Mattsee. From the Lohner Porsche and the Austro-Daimler Prince Heinrich car to the world-famous Sascha racing car, here one can be astounded by countless legendary cars and inventions by Ferdinand Porsche.

Scale model cars for collector

Many of the exhibits can also be purchased in model format. Collectors from all over the world are fascinated by the accurate reproductions right down to the smallest detail. The model car market is large and some special collector’s items are valued in the millions. In Germany, for example, the model car market generates around 250 million euros annually.

Model cars in 1:18, 1:43 and 1:87 scale

The fahr(T)raum online shop is currently offering a 25% discount (valid until 22.05.2020) on model cars in 1:18, 1:43 and 1:87 scale. From Ferdinand Porsche´s beginnings at Lohner to his developments at Austro-Daimler and Steyr, the following model cars, among others, are available:
1900 Lohner-Porsche and Lohner-Porsche Mixte, the world’s first hybrid vehicle; the Maja from 1908, Ferdinand Porsche’s first petrol motor design; the Prinz Heinrich, the world’s first real racing car; the legendary 1922 Sascha car, named after Count Alexander (“Sascha”) Kolowrat-Krakowsky, which won 22 races of the 53 it entered; and the 1929 Austro-Daimler Stuck racing car with which the “hillclimb king” Hans Stuck was victorious in 46 hillclimb races.

The range also includes a 1:72 scale model of the 1917 Hansa Brandenburg C1 airplane. Ferdinand Porsche supplied the 6-cylinder in-line motor for the Austro-Hungarian Aviation Troop aircraft.
